[comp.sys.amiga.misc] Pacific Page Postscript, HP LaserJet II, Amiga 2000?

ghost@bucsf.bu.edu (Jay Adelson) (04/14/91)

Has anyone had any success using a Pacific Page Postscript Cartridge in
a LaserJet IIp (underline the p a few times)?

Or is it necessary to use the Pacific Page PE cartridge?

I'm using it with my Amiga 2000...

I believe the only thing you need for the Pacific Page Postscript cartidge to
work ok with the IIp is memory. The standard memory (512K?) isn't enough.
I think the cartridge requires 2 meg, but I'm not sure. It's been a while
since I set it up, but it definitely will work.

Yes, you do need an additional 2 Meg but why does Pacific Data Products
produce two versions if the cartridges are interchangeable as you say?
