Imploder3.1 Question This program is supposed to implode libraries without any ill effects. H owever, I decided to implode the arp.library and now on bootup I get an error message that says .... Arb.library v39+ needed (not sure about ver number) Does anyone know what I could have done wrong? Also, thanks go to Phil@documail.uucp. He found the Boot1.lzh that I had been looking for. However, there is one problem with the problem. It does something to the system timing so that on bootup the system date is: <unset><unset><unset>. After any warm boots it is the same! (system date is not preserved). In addition, after running CURE (virus detector and killer) it frequently reports a "LoadSeg error" and removes the error. Anyone know what the cause of the problem could be? (BTW - One of my CIA chips is bad, and it has been all but impossible to find them on the market. Would that be a cause of trouble?) Thanks as always for the collective wisdom of the net!! ;) Russ comments/suggestions/additions/deletions/obfuscations/indigestions WELCOMED!!! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Gee. . . Stupid Question #2: do you have explode.library in libs:? >Also, thanks go to Phil@documail.uucp. He found the Boot1.lzh that I had been >looking for. However, there is one problem with the problem. What has most likely happened is that some program has stomped on your clock registers. Do a "setclock reset" then "setclock save". LoadSeg() was most likely modified by the explode.library. If you don't run CURE, do you still have the problem of not getting arp.library loaded? -- * From the disk of: | jms@vanth.uucp | "You know I never knew Jim Shaffer, Jr. | amix.commodore.com!vanth!jms | that it could be so 37 Brook Street | uunet!cbmvax!amix!vanth!jms | strange..."
