[comp.sys.amiga.misc] Disk Perf

dtiberio@eeserv1.ic.sunysb.edu (David Tiberio) (04/25/91)

I want to test out my hard drive. Where can I find Disk Perf, or anything
similar? I am also looking for any hard disk tools. Thanks.

Sorry, I'm not answering your question, but I heard an info about
DiskPerf that could interest people out there. It's been said that
certain well-known HD-makers companies have written devices that were
programmed to give very good results to DiskPerf (probably by analyzing
the way it proceeds and trying to fool it).

The best and objective way to test a HD is still to make it work on
very large files...
