I know a lot of people ask this but: When one adds an AT bridgeboard to ones A3000, where can one put the 5.25" drive? I imagine it needs power, can I place it in my A1020 case (old 5.25" 360k drive for My amiga). Also is there enough room to put an AT hardcard in the machine, or does the AT bridgeboard take up too much space? -Roger UUCP: {hplabs!hp-sdd ucsd nosc}!crash!pnet01!uzun ARPA: crash!pnet01!uzun@nosc.mil INET: uzun@pnet01.cts.com

I imagine it needs power, can I place it in my A1020 case >(old 5.25" 360k drive for My amiga). since there's no space in the 3000's case for a 5.25" disk, that sounds like a reasonable thing to do. be careful routing the ribbon cable so it doesn't get pinched. i'd try to convince your dealer to give you a nice 1.4M 3.5" drive instead of the 5.25" drive. >Also is there enough room to put an AT hardcard in the machine, or does >the AT bridgeboard take up too much space? there's room for a hardcard - if you don't have anything in the top (video) slot. see my previous post. >-Roger > >UUCP: {hplabs!hp-sdd ucsd nosc}!crash!pnet01!uzun >ARPA: crash!pnet01!uzun@nosc.mil >INET: uzun@pnet01.cts.com --Scotty -- =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Scott Drysdale Software Engineer Commodore Amiga Inc.
