I'm trying out MachIII right now, (on a trial basis) and love it, except when it blanks out the mouse pointer, it blanks out all the other sprites, which, for me, is undesirable. Anyone else had this problem, and a possible solution? -- Joseph Hillenburg jph@irie.ais.org

Anyone else had this problem, and a possible solution? A friend of mine noticed this while playing a game (you can easily imagine the scene :-)). He didn't find anything better than deactivating MachIII before playing and reactivating it after. I think this can be accomplished via hotkeys. An IconX file will do as well. +------------------------------------------------------------------------+ | Cedric BEUST University of Nice | | INET: beust@taloa.unice.fr $whoami | | UUCP: llaor.unice.fr!arkonis!beust god (personal alias) | | -- "To be, or not to be...", | | That is illogical, captain! | | -- Spock | +------------------------------------------------------------------------+

You may want to try NewPop v4.0. Loren

It just sits at the bottom of the screen, and the pointer cant get to the scroll bar to pull it up manually. Everything works fine under 1.3 PS: A great combo is MachIII and PopUpMenu. This way you can bypass the MTM feature and not worry about menu/active window problems. Jm

Strange.. Concerning this: Under 1.3, I could run Dmouse and JrComm concurrently with no problem... After 5 or 6 seconds, my mouse pointer would vanish, as per request of Dmouse... Under my kickstarted 2.0, When Dmouse makes me pointer vanish, the blinking cursor on my JrCOmm vanishes as well! What deh fuk! ArCTaNGeNt --Cue-Top, Squared off, 8 corners, 90 degree angles.

I've always used Qmouse, and have never felt any need to switch. Qmouse is a nice small easy to use program. But I've been away from Amiga for a good year now at least, and I've never seen MachIII. Rick Root ric@m-net.ann-arbor.mi.us From Merit, 'um-m-net' today!

Im running a 1.3 A500 and I have the same problem. Dmouse 1.25. I think I'm going to switch. Too bad.. It sure is anoying using VI on a Unix system and not being able to know where your cursor is!!!! -- .... . . /\ [*]Reply to:iwoehr@isis.cs.du.edu[*] : : :. .: \/ Descartes walks into a bar.
