[comp.sys.amiga.misc] Greek fonts

Recently someone posted a query about including Greek text (with
accents) in a English document. The most elegant solution is probably
to use TeX (or Latex) together with Sylvio Levy's greek font. It has
a full set of accents, and looks very nice. In addition, the tranlit-
eration scheme is quite simple, and takes about 3 minutes to learn.
You will need a version of TeX for the Amiga (I use Tom Rokicki's
commercial AmigaTeX, but there are several PD alternatives available
for FTP at ab20.larc.nasa.gov), as well as MetaFont to produce the
screen and printer greek fonts from Sylvio Levy's metafont sources.
TeX will require a fair amount of memory and some harddisk space.
You may also want to look into the 12-point greek font on disk 474
of the Fred Fish collection. I haven't checked it myself, so I don't
know if it has accents,...
Email me if you need an FTP location for Sylvio Levy's Greek package.
