Hi y'all!
I just saw the latest Hammacher and Schlemmer catalogue (spelling?), and there
was a full page add near the middle for the new CDTV.
They touted it as being made by Commodore, the same people who make the Amiga,
which (this is an approximate quote) is the new standard for video production,
and is used by television stations all over the nation.
For those of you who don't know, Hammacher and Schlemmer is a catalogue of
the neatest toys for the richest people who want the best of what is out there
to keep them occupied when they aren't shopping or investing.
Being in that catalogue is much like syndication for a television show. A lot
of rich people are going to buy it, and then start to wonder about the Amiga.
Maybe...some new investors who will pay to have the Amiga marketed as heavily
as the Mac is? ;-)
Anyway...any responses, flame or other, go via email...I don't usually
have time to read this group unless I have a specific question to search
for...
