Hello netters, I've got a couple of questions on which I hope you can help me out. 1. I'd like to install Harpoon by three sixty on my hard disk. I copied both disks onto the hd and checked that all files harpoon needed were there. Then I wrote a csh script which went something like cd dh0:games/strategy/harpoon c:stack 80000 harpoon and started it with 'source startharpo'. Everything went fine until the title screen came up. First the mouse pointer would refuse to work (mean- it just stopped) and then I'd get a Guru 0000002d which never before has come my way in a long time of C programming (I've seen quite a few). Booting off the floppy and using the GIUK.dat from the hd would work. The code was entered correctly at startup (otherwise it wouldn't have loaded in the first place). Another thing I tried was to interrupt the startup sequence right at the beginning and then start harpoon, but that did not work either. I would be really glad if someone could help me out on this (especially what this Guru 0000002d means....) 2. Can anyone tell me where the second scenario disk for Harpoon is available and how much it will cost approximately? As it looks this thining has not made it to Germany yet... Please make your answers via email! Cheers in advance, hoover -- "It is impossible to make things foolproof because fools are so ingenious." Uwe Sch"urkamp (hoover@math4.uni-bielefeld.de)
