I bought an A3000 last August, and I sent the coupon in for my copy of AmigaVision. Now here we are 10 months later and still no AmigaVision in sight. Has this happened to anyone else, or did I just luck out? -- Frank Anthes-Harper : Bien le bonjour de la France anthes@geocub.greco-prog.fr

I waited 4 weeks for my copy and when it didn't come by then I wrote. Seven days later, it came UPS red. I wrote to the following address: Commodore Business Machines, Inc 1200 Wilson Drive, Dept T West Chester, PA 19380 I have written Commodore several times in the past and my letters were answered within three weeks so they do read their mail. -- Richard Boyd 6600dmx@ucsbuxa.ucsb.edu

There was a program last year stating if you send in a copy of your reciept, along with the serial number off your Amiga, and if it was bought between April 14th (release date of the A3000) and some other odd date, that you would recieve the 2.0 ROM set FOR FREE once it was shipped... They would send you a coupon redeemable to your local dealer, and they would install 2.0 in your machine free of charge. Its been almost a year since I sent in my information, and I havent even recieved a letter stating they recieved it! Arctangent

We purchased an A3000 in August of 1990 also, we finally received our copy of AmigaVision in April of 1991, but only after I called Commodore and was on hold for 25 minutes (no 1-800 number either, it was my dime!). Now that I have it, I'm not impressed, it is a memory hog, and doesn't seem to serve any really usefull purpose! P.S. Just My opinion! - JohnM @ Lab Software

I'm starting to get discouraged by Commodore's Customer Relations... (If they have any) - JohnM @ Lab Software

I bought an A3000 last June/July and sent in the coupon for my copy of AmigaVision. I got it several months ago. Unforunately, I haven't used it, or the Amiga very much (computer over-saturation). On the other hand, I live in America, and I believe you live in France. I *WAS* a bit admant about getting it, pressure and a few phone calls might help, not that it should EVER be necessary to pressure a company into giving you what's yours. On the third hand, I never did get that free copy of WordPerfect as promised in the ad (for buying it under the Educational Discount). *sigh*, there ARE no winners. Perhaps I ought to bug Commodore again about the WordPerfect? Or should I simply go out and pirate one? Bill Ung ung@felix.UUCP hplabs!felix!ung
