[comp.sys.amiga.misc] AMAX Ram disk

You need to look at your Amax manual more carefully to find how to set
up the RAM disk. If you have memory reserved for such, you see it when
you press the F1 key. When you press F1, the mac requestor to
format the disk comes up (if it has no recognizable mac
filestructure on it); do the "format" and it will become
usable. Incidentally, if you do a restart within Amax and you
have bootable Mac software on your ram disk, you can press
F1 while the thing is looking for a boot disk (without a
real disk in df0: or df1:) and it will boot off the Amax ram disk.
This can be very handy at times since it frees floppies.
