AMIGA NOVICE CLASSES

	Novice I is a total introduction for the new Amiga user, focussing on
the use of the Workbench.  The various Amiga hardware configurations and their
differences are discussed, as are peripherals including disk drives, hard 
disk, expansion memory, modem and printers.  The different types of software
and suggestion on how to select the ones that are correct for your needs is
explained.  Use of the Workbench is explored in-depth,including copying and 
formatting disks, use of the menus and the mouse, as well as customizing your
Workbench, all of this by using simple step-by-step instructions.  The Command
Line Interface (CLI) is introduced and basic concept are explained.  The class 
includes a 19 pages notes and a practice disk.  Your are encourage to bring 
your system for hands-on practice.


	Novice II Concentrates on the Command Line Interface (CLI).  Making 
your Amiga its most flexible is easy when you understand the basics of the
CLI.  The most useful commands will be outlined as will used of the RAM and
RAD disk, the startup-sequence, paths and multitasking through the CLI.  A 
special look at the wide world of telecommunications and public domain 
completes the class.  The class includes a 19 pages notes and a practice 
disk.  Your are encourage to bring your system for hands-on practice.

All Amiga classes are three hour intensive and LIMITED to 40 student each.


The Novice Classes cost $30.00 per class.  Novice I Classes are from 10:00am 
to 1:00pm.  Novice II classes are from 2:00pm to 5:00pm. 


The Instructor:  Jose M. Gallego is the author if the best-selling AMIKIT FOR 
THE AMIGA - AN INTRODUCTION TO THE WORKBENCH AND CLI.  He has taught numerous
classes on these topics and specializes in working with those new to the 
computing in general and the Amiga in particular.  Jose encourages all Novice
Class students to bring their own machines to better understand the work, as
these classes include plenty of hands-on exercises.
