Excuse me while I get my foot out of my mouth--er--keyboard. One of the rules of net usage is not to post when angry. I broke the rule. I apologize to Fred Fish (is he real?), fellow Amiganites, Denise, Paula, and Agnus. For those of you who offered to buy my Amiga, sorry, but I think I'll keep it. Going to check out Flight Simulator software this weekend. I left myself wide-open for flames; mercifully, readers of this group held their fire. As one respodent pointed out, postings like mine can cause ugly rumors. A wiser man than myself. Dan Barrett's analysis of why icons started popping up was correct. The root directory of DH0: contained the bogus .info files. --Steve "Kick Me Hard" Rusk

Q: Is Fred Fish a real person? A: If he isn't, he's one hell of a good AI program. He keeps sending e-mail to me, and he seems intelligent. Q: Is his name REALLY "Fred Fish?" A: Yes, although it's been said that it should be spelled "Fred <><." >fellow Amiganites, I believe "Amigoids" rolls off the tongue better. Besides, "Amiganite" is too close to "Reaganite." >Denise, >Paula, and Agnus. Don't apologize to them. They're evil conspirators. Dan Zerkle zerkle@iris.eecs.ucdavis.edu (916) 754-0240 Amiga...
