Lately I've been having problems with my Amiga 500 doing a cold reboot on me. In concordance with Murphy's Law, this always seems to happen when de-archiving, doing long transfers, or saving documents in my word processor. My setup is: A500, A501 memory/clock box, A1080 monitor, SupraModem 2400, ECE MIDI box, California Access CA-880 external drive, Star NX-1000 printer. I'm thinking it's something wrong with the power supply brick (an original, not a replacement), but I'm no hardware guru. On another tack, I can't seem to send anything to PRT:. The shell keeps telling me "object in use". I'm running MachII, GOMF2.2, Workbench, ConMan 1.3, ARP 1.3, MyMenu, and Snap 1.4. Quelle est la deal? Thanks. I'm a little new to Usenet, so if I screwed up the message header or anything, I'm sorry. -- "Reversing entropy is every- | Mark J.
