[comp.sys.amiga.introduction] How do I use FTP?

 I am using my account on our university's VAX, which does allow FTP access-
I think. When I FTP to ab20, I need to input a username and password. How do I
get an account on that FTP host? It wont accept my username on our VAX. And
I am really clueless on what to do.

username = anonymous
password = your e-mail address (jpb9919@venus.tamu.edu in your case)
