[comp.unix.amiga] File system not set OK on shutdown

Could someone from C= please explain why a "shutdown -i0" does not
set the file system to an OK state so that on reboot the root
file system needs to be fsck'ed. The system in question is a 2000
with a GVP 030 card and SCSI controller. Doing a "shutdown -i6"
does set the file system to a clean state. What gives?. Do I
need to set anything in /etc to get -i0 to work properly?
