I am trying to connect an NCR SCSI tape drive to an Amiga 3000UX. When I access /dev/rmt/4 the tape drive is active, when I use /dev/rmt/4n to read the tape nothing happens. The tape is never active. Is it possible to connect a non-Amiga drive to a 3000UX? If so what should the major and minor SCSI numbers be? Thanks for any info. Iain Wacey cat@pluto.dss.com
