Soltanto = only (a synonimous for "soltanto" is "solo") Sole = sun They sound similar, but they are quite different (like "hungry" and "hangry") -- _____ / \ .--------------------------|\ P M /|---------------------------------------. | |_\ /.| | Paolo Montrasio | | Don't study, don't work, |--\_/--| | montra@ghost.unimi.it | | play the Core War! \ \_/ / | montra@[131.175.10.64] | | __|---|__ | MILANO - ITALY | `------------------------/ \-------------------------------------' --

The same spelling ("sole") is used for "sun", "die Sonne". By the way, Gerhard, how do you manage to type a umlaut on these bloody ascii terminals? I can do it on a PC either through escape sequences or by altering the country code, but on an ascii terminal? Is fu"r an acceptable solution? Bye -- Bruno Di Stefano stefano@ecf.toronto.edu

Hope it helps!
