[comp.dcom.fax] the group 3 fax specifications

The CCITT specification for the group 3 fax standard is
in rfc804, on of the internet rfc's.

Available, for example, by anonymous ftp from sri-nic.arpa,

cd rfc:
get rfc804.txt

This should enable one to interpret the fax data files
used by fax modem software, since it should be somewhat
close to the standard, though it may have extra headers
on it.   With the information available from fax modem
manufacturers, it should allow one to write conversion
and transmission/reception programs.
