I've heard rumors of some truly cheap FAX machines and FAX cards
out there. I've heard prices in the $75 range. Probably quality
to match, but who knows??
Anyone have any experience, sources, knowledge of truly CHEAP fax?

They might have been referring to fax send only cards. Typically include
a 2400 baud modem and 4800 baud fax send only. We bought one last
November for around $80, so I can believe $75 now. We don't use the
fax feature actually, we needed a modem, and the sendfax (TM)
feature was so cheap that we bought it.
