Thanks everyone for the information! I'm new to all this. I'll look into all your leads, but it sounds like the technology and the reasonable prices aren't quite here yet. In the interem it looks like I should invest in a scanner and a CBF (Fax board ?), especially since most of what I fax will be from a word processor (Wordperfect (saved in ASCII I guess)). Could anyone recommend some good scanners and software to work with a recommended fax board? I'm not sure if there are any defacto standards in faxing. Thanks! Mark BTW: Cannon said they are working on an RS-232 port for printing on their L770 Model, but had no date on when they would (ever) have it available.
