[comp.dcom.fax] Reasonable Modem Fax in/out PLUS 2400 MNP5?

wrs@mcshh.hanse.de (Wolfgang R. Schulz) (05/19/91)

I think I remember that I read here or in a different group that
this really exists:
a fax modem to send and receive, plus full 2400 Baud function with
MNP5 for around $300.
Does anyone remember what brand and type this was, and availability?
Thanks in advance.

Or if you're using it on a PC you could get a fax modem and let the
software do the MNP 5. In a quick scan through the Computer Shopper
I came across one from Image Communications, (800)666-2496.
	"Twincom 24/96", 9600 send/receive FAX, 2400 modem, internal
	$149 + $39 for the MNP software.

(No, I don't work for these people.)
