Hi to everyone in the Brave New NewsGroup of comp.sys.acorn. Let's start out with a question: I use my A310 with a Commodore 2080 (excellent long persistence monitor!). Because the 2080 can take interlaced signal, I have permanent *TV 0,0 setting. (It makes my screen look beautiful; no visible scan lines, sharp characters/ lines.) The other day I wrote some hack to display 512 scan lines by changing video banks on the VSyncPulse interrupt so due to the interlace I get double resolution although the 2080 not a multisync monitor (just 15KHz). My problem is how to sync with the interlace. Namely, when I install my interrupt handler I would like to be able to detect if the next frame will be the first half of the interlaced picture. I know that there is a pin on the VIDC pin number 21 Horizontal Interlace Marker which would give me the necessary info but unfortunately it is not connected to an I/O register (or is it?) Any help is appreciated! -- Andras Kovacs andras@alzabo.UUCP
