Hello there. I have a problem using the fileserver at newcastle.ac.uk. I have got some of the new stuff (disc1..5), but uudecode says "Short file". However, a file disc1.tar.Z is created and uncompressing works ok., but the resulting .tar file stops after some 7 files with a "directory checksum error". The files from the fileserver were all complete, with proper begin and end lines. I tried uudecode on the unix machine (Sun4), but not on the Arc. Has anybody had similar problems with these files or any suggestion?
