nbvs@cl.cam.ac.uk (Nicko van Someren) (01/25/91)
I have recently ported MicroEMACS 3.9f to run in a window on the RISC OS desktop. It is now in a state where I am willing to let it out into the big wide world. The implementaton deals with resizeable vertual terminal windows, piped commands and supports filtering of buffers if the filter program is writen in C and uses the shared C library. It also deals with Wimp CloseDown messages so that you have a chance to save your modified buffers. The distribution disc has about 450k on it after compresion and before being uuencoded so I am not going to post it here (maybe when we get our comp.binary) but if anyone wants a copy, including source, then send me a preformated disc and a stamped addressed envelope to: Nicko van Someren Trinity College, Cambridge, CB2 1TQ England. If you don't format the disc, or if you do not send some form of postage I will just keep the disc. Foreign readers can mail me and I will mail them binaries only (the lab gets upset if I send too much mail).
