[comp.sys.acorn] graphics board, RayShade, Mandy.

There was some news about a graphics board a little while ago. What
I want to know is:
Is there a graphics board for the Arc which can give full 24 bits per
pixel displays, and also output to a video recorder.
I know nothing about this side of graphics. What I want to do is
create a series of animation frames (using a (my) ray-tracer) in a 24
bit/pixel format. I then want to be able to display the pictures, and
send them to a recorder in order to make the animation on video.
What is the highest resolution I can display 24 bit pictures in, and
what is the best resolution to use for a video. Also - what kind of
frame rate can I expect on screen or on video. Do I need a video
recorder which can take a single frame at a time.

There's quite a few questions there. I'd really appreciate any help
in answering them, and any other information I'd need to make a video
animation would be very useful.

For all those enquiring about the machine code version of RayShade, It
almost certainly won't be public domain - I've done far too much work
on it for that. If anyone has some scene description files, I'd appreciate
them - thanks.

Because of all this binary-posting discussion I am trying to sell
!Mandy version 2.00 - sorry guys, not my fault !! I'll mail if I
don't sell.

!translatr 6.29 is great - Cheers John.

  Thanks in advance,

     Rog.

Yes you do.
Another thing: You will find these special videorecorders very expensive
