Are there any programs that provides facilities similar to Mathematica running on the Mac? Such as equation solving, graphing etc? I remember that one of the Archive disks had something to do with maths applicatons, but were they all cli versions? David Jones cs9h0dgj@uk.ac.swan.pyr

Mathematica for the arc. Well when I went to the BAU show in September I got talking to a chap from CC & he sais he knew someone that was codeing mathematica in ARM coded (wow!) - but I have not seen anything of it yet (dream on!) As to the Archive Maths disc, well it has a few useful progs but it is mainly routine that you need to work on to make them do what you want (there is a fairly quick mc FFT which I am at the mo using to build a filter system for the Multipod sound sampler to get rid of the noise. - that is unless anyone else out there has done it allready?) It does not draw graphs. I believe you need a hard disc to run it. Owen. The views expressed are my own and are not necessarily those of Acorn.
