[comp.sys.acorn] comp.binaries.acorn

mike@abekrd.UUCP (Mike Quinn) (12/18/90)

As an outsider looking in (I own an atari ST, first hobby computer was a Beeb),
I can only say this:

It doesn't _really_ matter how much traffic there is now or could
be soon. This is an anarchic system, if you want a group you can
	have one.

Just take a look at comp.[binaries|sources].[amiga|atari.st], the traffic
through these groups is tragically low especially when you consider they have
sold approximatley 4 million machines combined. The reason the groups exist
is to keep the sys group for discussion and thus allow picky administrators
to justify keeping them.

Go ahead, create comp.binaries.acorn _and_ comp.sources.acorn - show the
world what a beautiful machine you have!

Good Luck,

	Mike. (mike@abekrd.co.uk)

Here was a CFV about comp.binaries.acorn. This group should be founded on
24 March. Today is 25 March. I wondered where are the files. Has my SYSOP
forgotten to buiild such a group, are they on the way or what is happend?

Have a good time!

Peter
