I downloaded Frank Lancaster's Tar & compress only to find that the clib versions didn't work - Shared C library out of date. For those who don't know - if you must use a later version of the C compiler, unless you're using some new features link with the old (clib 3.50) $.clib.o.stubs library file. Well, that isn't a bug. It is supposed to use CLib 3.66, and if you don't have it, use the version which doesn't use CLib. I don't understand anyway, why Acorn doesn't release the CLib into the PD. Frank
