[comp.sys.acorn] Clib and stubs

cabp03@vaxa.strath.ac.uk (05/03/91)

Fisrt of all, thanks to Acorn for the recent posting of Clib 3.66.
However, the readme files with it indicate some new features available to
code linked with the 3.66 stubs or ansilib, such as malloc being able to
use wimpslots (if I've read this coorectly!). The question I have is:
where do I get the required version of the stubs? I only have the version
I got with the release 3 C compiler. Should I be able to get it from Acorn
as a registered C owner, or is it only available to software developers?

On the subject of the stubs code, a problem I came across when writing some
module code with C - when I used the calls RMA_alloc etc, I got a link
error saying that the objects where not found, although linking with
ansilib worked ok. Is this a known problem with the 3.5 stubs, or am I
doing something wrong?

Any help would be appreciated

Colin
