This is a request for a copy of "Guardian", which is a PD virus killer written
by, now wait for it, Paul Vigay - the apparent author of the "Vigay Virus"
("datadqm" file) ! It is on the Acorn User subscription disc (May
1991 issue I think) - along with an article by him in Acorn User itself.
I'm very, very sceptical about trusting a virus killer program written by the
author of a virus, so I'd like a copy of the program to check it out (he only
mentions the Extend Virus in the article). And, no, I'm not paying for an
Acorn User subscription disc - the mag is lousy and I should have had a
free disc because my program (VKiller - no doubt ye olde V1.10 that all the
mags seem to be using :-( ) was on there anyway !
Please e-mail me "Guardian" (preferably Spark 2 format if you can manage it) -
do *not* post it up to this group. I'll report back here when I've checked
it out...
