Alan, while we're still settling down on the style of the acorn groups,
here's another suggestion:

Put the file shipping list in plain text before the file?  That will
save us having to unpack it to find out whether it includes sources
or not, and therefore whether it is worth downloading :-)  [of
course I should be able to infer that from the group in which it
was posted but you haven't said yet whether you intend to split
postings into sources and binaries on a systematic basis]
