Unfortunately, due to Princeton receiving several complaints about the huge amounts of mail being sent out, the BITFTP service is now confined essentially to BITNET users ... which doesn't include us. Anyone know of any other way to obtain FTP material by mail? --Fil. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Philip Colmer, XX Xxxxxxx Xxxxxx, Acorn Computers Ltd (pcolmer@acorn.co.uk) RISC OS team :-)

It is ftpmail@decwrl.dec.com. Send it a message containing just the word help to find out how to use it. Perhaps people who post info about FTP sites can add these details. Perhaps it is worth pointing out that this is a service that should not be abused (look what happened to BITFTP). You can generate yourself a awful lot of mail if you are not careful. -- Susan Carter ( sc@stl.stc.co.uk +44-279-429531 Ext 3702 )
