I have an old Acorn Atom and on which I should like to run BBC basic. I have heard that there is a PROM that would allow me to do this; albeit a limited version thereof. If there are no copyright problems (any comment Acorn?) can anyone send me the data for such a PROM, saying which PROM type is needed? Otherwise, does anyone know from where I could buy one? Thanks a lot in advance, Stuart. - -- S I E M E N S Stuart Hood === Siemens Nixdorf House, Bracknell, Berks, UK ------------- Phone: + 44-344-850994 Email: stuart@siesoft.co.uk N I X D O R F The trouble with everyone, is that they generalise too much

It's not only a PROM, it's a complete circuit board which sits on top of the processor and ROM (I think) in the Atom. A friend of mine once blew up his Atom (by accidentally putting 220V on the extension connector, the idiot), but maybe the BBC board is still intact. It might be laying around somewhere.
