For anyone considering getting this printer, you can use the !PrinterLJ
printer driver. The printer quality is quite good, I've used separated
sheets of fanfold, (not the best paper of course), and still got a resonable
reproduction.
PS. I went off to my local unfriendly Acorn dealer yesterday (Orion Computers)
in an attempt to get an upgrade for the Acorn MIDI board, they hadn't heard
of such a thing ! And weren't too polite in telling me so ! Is this the
sort of response others are getting from their local Acorn dealers ?

You actually have a dealer near you that doesn't have to import/request hardware from usually at least 669km away and more often has to get from britain (Which is some distance from here). Our dealer has to look in the Micro User to see what is available.... Ah well at least he does eventually get the item wanted...
