We just installed Netware 386 3.1 and I can't get RCONSOLE to work from my workstation or any other using a 3Com 3C501 NIC. It works fine on a station using a 3C503. I am using the Clarkson v 7.x packet drivers with the BYU extensions for Netware. The packet drivers are configured as follows: 3C501 -n -w 0x69 2 0x300 3C503 -n -w 0x69 2 0x310 I have tried 0x310 on the 501, but it doesn's help. Of course, I could swap NICs, but I would like to have console access from any station since our stations/users are spread among two buildings. Has anyone else seen such a conflict or can anyone suggest things to try? My vendor is worthless (ie. knows less than I do) and getting through to Novell is just slightly easier than getting through to the White House. |:-) I'll post a summary if there seems to be interest.
