[comp.sys.novell] Writing IPX drivers

dobson@locus.com (Peter Dobson) (12/19/90)

I'm just beginning to learn about Novell netware. I know that I will
need to write an IPX driver for Novell to get it working with our systems.

How do I get the documentation for writing an IPX driver? I've got some
sample IPX drivers that I can reverse engineer, but there's got to be
a better way.

Thanks,
Peter Dobson

If you are looking to write an IPX Lan driver for a board you manufacture,
you can get the LAN driver development kit from Novell IMSP (independent
manufacturer's support program). There is a prohibitive fee and a tough
certification program that your driver must pass before it is "approved"
by Novell.

On the other hand, you could be asking a completely different question.
