I tried to respond by email, but have been unable to get an unbounced message. I'm in the process of setting up a modem server for my Novell network. I am using PC Anywhere IV for the software. I am dedicating a workstation as a modem server, but I plan to put my tape backup machine on it too. PC Anywhere uses Host software and Remote software. The Host software is installed on the machine that the Remote will take control of. You can set up the host machine to get a name and password from the user and then call back a specific number to verify that the person calling is the one who is supposed to call. Eventually, I will have 3 PCs on the network with Host software, and at least 4 PCs with Remote software at homes. I'll be interested in seeing your compiled comments. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Karin Coffee Intel Supercomputer Systems Division Network/System Administration 15201 NW Greenbrier Parkway The LAN Lords Beaverton, OR 97201 karinc@isc.intel.com (503) 629-7693 =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
