I have a Novell network remote to my Unix (TCP/IP) network with which I'd like to exchange e-mail. Does anyone know of an MHS emulator that runs on Unix that can communicate via modem with MHS on a Novell network? Specifically, this emulator would answer the modem and speak SMF with the calling MHS program, massage the incoming messages into Unix mail format and deliver them to 'rmail' or whatever. On the outgoing side, we'd need something to take Unix mail messages (intercepted from 'rmail' or whatever) destined for the remote Novell MHS net, massage them into SMF and call the MHS modem to deliver the messages. Does anyone know of such an animal? Please e-mail, and I'll summarize. Thanks. matt --- Matthew Reedy UUCP: uunet!iquery!matt Programmed Intelligence Corp. I'm looking for a Unix equivalent to Novell's MHS program. Our firm has a remote Novell net using an e-mail package that only speaks MHS. I'd like to be able to have that Novell net using MHS call my Unix system, and have the getty process invoke this Unix MHS handler rather than login - in effect make my Unix system look like another MHS system to that remote Novell net. Does anyone know of such a beast? Is there a contact at Action Tech (the developers of MHS) that might know if any work is being done in this area? Many thanks in advance matt --- Matthew Reedy UUCP: uunet!iquery!matt Programmed Intelligence Corp.
