We are using ANW 2.15 with v.3.01a shell. We also use an in-house
modified version of Stanford's TCP/IP package. Most nodes are
286 or 386 based and have 1 meg of RAM.
Additionally, we often access a CD-ROM server. This beast chews
a ton of RAM forcing the nodes to reboot after use.
I saw an article in PC Magazine (1/29/91 issues), on LAN memory
management software. The pick was NetRoom by Helix Software.
My questions are;
1. Has anyone had any experience with this product?
2. Does anyone know of any conflicts when running
this or any other LAN memory managers while IPX,
NETx and TCP/IP are all loaded into memory?
Thanks in advance for any comments.
