Would anyone like to recommend a reasonably priced
tape backup system to be run with Netware V2.15 (Rev. A)?
Looking through Computer Shopper, there seem to be quite
a few systems which claim to be Novell-compatible, with
widely varying prices.
We would like to be able to back up all info on our
150 MB hard drive (including bindery) at night, unattended.
We would also like the backup to be transparent to active users.
Thanks in Advance,

Jeff,
you should look at the mountain td800 tape backup system. it will
backup to 80 megs on a regular dc2000, but by buying the mach 2 controller
board, you can back up to 128 megs on a dc2000 and double the speed of the
tape backup system.
by using dc2120 cartridges, you can get up to 150 megs per tape, and
mountain has new software out (which i haven't used yet) which wil back up to
300 megs per one of these tapes.....
mountain is very reliable. we've never had many problems with the many
we've sold ... highly recommended.
no, i don't work for moutnain.
