Hello.. I'm having a little problem with a Zenith AT running Novell's workstation software.. The computer is setup as follows: Zenith 286 machine (probably a model 248, with a very large case and backplane (sp?) design where the majority of the motherboard sits on one card. This machine is pretty old, but has performed flawlessly for a number of years without any major compatibility problem) 512K of memory PC Dos 3.3 with minimal config.sys and autoexec.bat (files=20, buffers=20, prompt=$p$g, path=, and a packet driver. That's it) Zenith EGA Card with 256K of memory (Which emulates EGA on a Hercules monitor) 40 Meg MFM drive with controller. 1 1.2 Meg floppy drive. 1 Serial port set at COM1: (IRQ = 4, Base address = 0x3f8h) 1 Parallel port set at LPT1: Everex Sppedlink PC Ethernet board (8 bit) IRQ = 2 Base address = 0x360h High performance mode No boot prom 64K of RAM Everex's FTP driver, which is based on Clarkson's packet driver. IRQ = 2 Packet Int. # = 0x60h Base address = 0x360h IPXP (IPX for packet driver) NET3 (latest version I believe, from Novell) The NET3 program locks up whenever I try to run it (after running the packet driver and IPXP). Any ideas? BTW, CUTCP and NCSA Telnet works just fine with this setup. Thanks in advance for any help... -- "Abandon all hope, ye who press enter here." - Somewhere in Usenet
