I am using Netware 2.15c with the Mac VAP 1.1 on three servers. The Mac VAP is a little limited, but it's worked quite well for us for about a year. I should also add that we have five Apple Laserwriters attached via a Dayna Appletalk card and phone net. That let's the PCs and Macs all print to the same printers. Some strange things have been occuring in the last couple of months or so, which I was hoping someone here may be familiar with. The first was that the print queues would suddenly not be able to talk to the printers anymore. Rebooting the server would fix the problem, but that's a pain. Sometimes I would reinstall the software, via MACSETUP, but it didn't seem necessary. The next symptom was the same as above, but with the added strangeness that the "published" setting in MACSETUP would be set to unpublished for all the print queues. I thought someone was playing games, so I moved MACSETUP to my home directory for safe-keeping. But it happened again yesterday!!! Anyone know why this keeps happening? If you have any great solutions, you probably ought to post it, but you can email me at dd@intuit.com. Thanks, David DelGreco
