Greetings: I am seeking your help with respect to *getting started* with Netware. Specifically, I am looking for the following sources of information: (1) A good "primer" text on Netware 386. It should spell out the features and functions of Netware 386, without getting heavily into "how tos". It should also get into the architectural framework of Netware 386, i.e. how it relates to other applications within the machine (both from the point of view of the client and the server) and how the client relates to the server. (2) Any articles which do a discrete comparison of Netware 386 and LAN Manager; features, functions, performance, installation, configuration, user friendliness, maleability, etc. (3) Some insight into Portable Netware, i.e. does it most closely emulate the capabilities of Netware 286? 386? neither? I have lots of more detailed questions to bring up, but I think I'll start here and work my way down. If any of you have some advice on any of these questions, please E-Mail me. As you can plainly see, my Netware experience cannot even be classified as "novice". However, I have to get up to speed *very quickly*. Thank you very much for your help. -- Robert H.
