I've got a PS/2 55SX with 4 Mb RAM and 60 Mb disk. It's connected to a NewWare 2.15c server, using the 3.01D shells. It's also running Windows served off the LAN. The problem is that Windows will crash and burn, hang, etc, when loading IFF SHARE.EXE was loaded. If share isn't loaded, things run fine. I haven't seen this one documented. Anyone have a fix? -- Dave Anderer danderer@brahms.udel.edu (302) 451-8805 Instructional Technology Center, University of Delaware, Newark, De. 19716 "Sinners can repent; stupid is forever."

One correction - I'm using the 3.01E shells. -- Dave Anderer danderer@brahms.udel.edu (302) 451-8805 Instructional Technology Center, University of Delaware, Newark, De. 19716 "Sinners can repent; stupid is forever."

The networks.txt readme file that comes with the WINDOWS 3.0 installation disks has some information on running a shared copy of windows from a network server.
