I'm looking for some suggestions on cache. I'm looking at the following: 1) 486 server with the 8k on-board cache 2) 128k of external static RAM cache 3) disk controller with 2meg cache 4) caching done by Netware 3.x in regular RAM It seems that you could eliminate some of that cache, and not see any degradation in thoughput.
