I have a nw2.15c server (Proteon TR and 3Com 3c503) connected to my ethernet backbone by a vitalink setup. The vitalinks control two 112kb lines between them that we send DEC LAT and ethernet traffic over. When the 2.15 server is econfiged and plugged into a chipcom-vitalink setup on one end, I can see the multicast/SAP packets on the other end BUT, the 2.15 server will lockup within 30 or so seconds. when its not plugged into the ethernet its fine. Other servers have done this in the past and we have tried a stack of 3com (501 and 503) cards. Any idea on the cause/soultion of the lockup? jamesp@world.std.com
