We use this Wangtek on NW386.  I don't have any real beefs with the hardware;
the price is nice. Seems to hold up. But the problem you will have in buying
this is finding software that will work with it.
a) Maynard's cool s/w won't drive this DAT.
b) Emerald's s/w won't drive it.
c) Novell NBACKUP comes bundled with NW. It supports this drive. BUT,
   when we tried it, it did not get all of the files "extended permissions".
d) Most h/w (read DAT drive) vendors intentionally make it so that they bundle
   controller, DAT drive, and their s/w. Shame ! :)
e) The *only* s/w that Wangtek recommended using (when I bought mine, anyway)
   was Sytos. We have found Sytos to be very unsatisfactory.
f) Currently we are looking at using Cheyenne as a NW386 NLM. They will send
   you a live demo. They will work with Bustek EISA if your server is less
   than 16M RAM (currently), they also work with Adapteck ISA 1540. We
   have yet to try this. It is hopefully better than Sytos Plus 1.20.
g) Perhaps see PC MAG, 1/29/91, page 273 for s/w reviews.
