We have had a long, ongoing problem here at OSU with Novell and PC Broadband support. Our configuration is one where each of over 75 departmental LANs is connected to our University backbone via a PC Broadband Adapter Card. The LANs themselves use Ethernet. This all has worked fine with Novell 2.15xx. Last August I decided to update to version 3. We bought the software under assurances that it would be a very simple conversion. However, we later discoverd a lack of support in the new version for the PC Broadband Adapters. I contacted Novell and they asked me to wait for the new drivers. This we did. I week ago I got the new version 3.11 and discovered that even though there were drivers for our card the server doesn't recognize the other servers on campus. Later I discovered comments in the documentation which seem to indicate that while Novell will support PC Broadband adapters they cannot do so for servers running various versions of Novell. Is there anyone out there who has encountered this problem and has a reasonable solution? Are there any other options and if so what are the relative values of their particular implimentations? Thanks a lot for help with this sticky problem. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Steve Dodd Oregon State University Extension Administration -- ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Stephen M.
