We Are considering to buy netware 3.11 and to have a server and a backup server. So that when the Primary server fails, we just boot the other server and either download the previous night's backups to it or take the hard-disk from it, if some other component fails and we are up and running. But we would like to know, if it is possible to run the same kernel on computers with different bus. As the main server has an EISA bus and a busmastering SCSI-controller and the other server has a an ISA bus and a "normal" SCSI-controller. Does anyone have any insights ?
