[comp.sys.novell] Irritating Problems With Netware V2.15 Rev. A

Hello All,

    I have a couple of minor yet disconcerting problems with
Netware V2.15 Rev. A.

1.  When I enter syscon, I receive the following error
message twice before getting to the main menu:

  ERROR
     CreateDirectory returned an error code of -1.

  DESCRIPTION
     The description for this error is not available.

  SEVERITY
     The current operation cannot be completed.


2.  When I edit the system login script and do a save I get the following
error message  (NOTE:  the script gets saved fine):

  ERROR
     ChangeMode returned an error code of 206.

  DESCRIPTION
     An attempt to change the file attributes of file
     "\\SERVER1\SYS\PUBLIC\NET$LOG.DAT failed.  The mode was 1.

  SEVERITY
     The current operation cannot be completed.



  Are these normal?  Is this an indication of worse problems
on the way?
